On May 18th, 2025, we proudly hosted a groundbreaking event at Barcelona’s deepest metro station: the first stair climbing competition! Â
The TransPerfect Mountain Challenge, in collaboration with Fundació TMB, Club Atlètic TMB, and sponsored by Orona, brought this thrilling event to life. Celebrating a century of the Barcelona Metro, participants faced the exhilarating challenge of conquering 419 steps—twice!
But it wasn’t just about the climb; together, we made strides in the fight against childhood cancer. This unique sporting experience not only tested endurance but also united us for a noble cause. Join us in commemorating this remarkable achievement and supporting a brighter future for all children.

What a day in Barcelona!!Â
The TransPerfect Mountain Challenge moved closer to Afanoc and the House of Xuklis for its eigth edition. We enjoyed a fun-filled day of adventure and solidarity! This April 6th, we celebrated our big event at the Velòdrom d’Horta in Barcelona. It was an unforgettable mountain experience! The magnificient Collserola Natural Park and the Montbau area provided the perfect backdrop for the trail running, orienteering races and family activities. Exciting sports, music, delicious food, and family friendly activities! Plus, together we supported a noble cause: the fight against childhood cancer.

Since 2018, Barcelona TransPerfect employees’ friends and families have been commited to help AFANOC. Every year, through the TransPerfect Mountain Challenge, they fundraise to make the House of Xuklis even more of a home for the families and kids staying there. All money raised will go towards renovating the living room, expanding the kitchen, installing solar panels and much more.
